Writer, Producer, and Business Woman, Deborah Tillie, is the CEO of PERRY PRODUCTIONS and hails from Chicago, Illinois where at a very early age discovered her love of story and later cultivated a keen interest in the literary world. A Realtor by trade, Deborah also serves as the VP of Marketing for L.S.S. Inc., a wholly-owned family enterprise.
Holding a Business Degree with an emphasis in Marketing, she comes to the entertainment world by way of Corporate America. In her most recent position, she functioned as a Systems Analyst for a major Manufacturing and Auto Sales Company.
Deborah's passion for creative writing and movies prompted her return to college to pursue a Master's Degree in Film/TV. There, she honed the craft of screenwriting and film production. During Deborah's tenure at Chapman University in Orange, California, she wrote Black Butterfly, her first screenplay which was nominated as a Finalist in the Hollywood Symposium and dubbed an Award Winner by the International Screenwriting Contest and Writer's Digest. Her script was later honored by the Chesterfield Project, an offshoot of Steven Spielberg's Amblin Rose Productions.
With a very low budget, but an ever-growing desire to see Black Butterfly on the big screen, Deborah parlayed the knowledge she earned from Chapman to produce the promotional trailer.
